COUNSELING FOR Burnout
online across Arizona, colorado, Florida, Iowa, New Mexico, and Texas.
You can’t afford to give up, but you’re not sure how to keep going like this.
You grew up knowing your family sacrificed everything so you could be here, and that people like you had to be excellent all the time. So you were. You worked yourself to the bone in school and earned every degree and credential. Now, with decades of work ahead of you, you can see the pace isn’t sustainable.
It was never about luxury cars or designer watches. You just wanted enough to pay the bills, support your family here and back home, and still have a life. Instead, you’re working around the clock. You’re exhausted and snapping at the people you love, with no time for dating or your partner. Your body is keeping score: headaches, aches, constant fatigue. And then come the medical bills.
On top of it all, you’re trying to fit into a workplace built for white, English-speaking men. You’re tired of the microaggressions, of being underestimated and underpaid, of never quite belonging. Rest feels out of reach, and you’re not sure how much longer you can keep this up.
Does this cycle sound familiar?
You push harder at work to prove you belong.
The stress spills over, and you snap at the people you love.
You feel guilty, so you push even harder.
You lose track of what you wanted this success for.
Your body finally forces you to stop, with a headache, an illness, or a crash.
And as soon as you can, you start again.
HOW I CAN HELP
Counseling for burnout that understands the extra weight you carry.
Being bicultural at work comes with stress your coworkers may never see: microaggressions, being underestimated, and the constant work of reading the room and adjusting to fit in. Therapy can’t fix systemic injustice. But it can give you one place where you don’t have to tone-police yourself, and where that extra emotional labor is named as real.
In our sessions, we’ll look at the beliefs driving your pace, like “rest is lazy,” “I can’t make mistakes,” or “everything depends on me.” We’ll sort out which ones came from your family’s sacrifices, which ones from the workplace, and which you want to keep. We’ll also work on concrete things: setting limits at work, calming your stressed body, and making room for the people and parts of your life that are getting squeezed out.
You spend most of your waking hours working. You deserve for that work to support your life, not consume it.
Work stress counseling is right for you if you want to…
Leave work at work, and show up for the people you love with energy left over
Say no, set limits, and ask for what you’re worth without the guilt spiral
Rest without feeling like you’re falling behind
Decide whether to stay, push for change, or move on, from a clear head instead of exhaustion
Feel like yourself at work, not a version you have to perform

Schedule a free 10-minute consultation where we can discuss what had led you to seek counseling, and you can ask any questions you may have. If you feel ready, we will schedule your first session and set out on the path of empowering you to feel better equipped and more resilient in the face of your work stressors.
-
Yes. We won’t decide for you. We’ll get clear on what’s driving the decision, what you need, and what your family’s expectations have to do with it, so you can choose from a steady place instead of exhaustion.
-
Burnout often overlaps with anxiety or depression. Part of our early work is understanding what’s going on, so we can focus on what will actually help.

Therapy that fits into your life, not on top of it
When you’re running on empty, therapy should feel like relief, not one more thing on your to-do list. Sessions are online, in English or Spanish, for anyone living in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah.
Choose the session length that fits your week: 30 minutes for a focused check-in on a lunch break, 45 or 60 for regular sessions, or 90 when you need space to go deeper. Join from your office, your home, or a parked car. No commute, no waiting room, and no one at work needs to know.
